Microservices are components of independent services made available by cloud platforms.
The development of serverless applications based on microservices turns out to be more scalable, faster, but also involves complexities.
The use of multiple services implies the management of multiple distribution flows that must be kept correct and consistent throughout the application life cycle. Furthermore it is necessary to orchestrate the services so that they communicate with each other quickly and safely, without compromising the performance of the entire application.
Furthermore, we cannot disregard the context in which the serverless application will be used:
companies have a traditional infrastructure and application baggage with which new cloud applications will have to interact.
